Your data security is an important priority when you trade with us. Therefore, we always treat your information properly and with respect for your privacy.

According to the Personal Data Protection Act (Personal Data Act), Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive) and Regulation 2016/679 (EU Data Protection Regulation), you are entitled to be informed of the personal data we, Mogens Daarbak A/S, CVR.nr. 73276810, collect and process.
Personal data is any form of information about an identified or identifiable natural person, which can be directly or indirectly associated with a person. For example, name, address, phone number or IP address.

When we collect personal information about you, we always ensure that you are aware of the types of information collected and why the information is collected.

Consent
When you purchase goods or services (both in physical stores and online) from us, you consent to the collection of your personal information and you hereby agree to these terms and conditions. Your personal information may include; name, address, email, phone number and optionally an alternative shipping address.

By contacting us per. mail to the address, Gugvej 120, 9210 Aalborg SE, or per. e-mail to info@daarbak.dk, you can withdraw your consent. 
If you choose to withdraw your consent, please be aware that it may lead to restrictions on the services we offer, including sending newsletters.
You should also be aware that, in some cases, we would be entitled to continue processing your information even if you withdraw your consent and the treatment based on the consent expires.
Mainly, we process your information to fulfill our agreement with you, and to comply with applicable laws, including the Accounting Act and the Money Laundering Act.

When do we collect personal information? 
We register and store the information you provide to us when you enter into an agreement with our company, whether in a physical store or online. We record your information for the one purpose of delivering a product or service and to comply with the law.

We therefore collect personal information in the following situations:

  • When you buy goods or services (both in physical stores and online)
  • When you order catalogs or sign up for our newsletter
  • When you interact with us, for example, when you send e-mails
  • When you participate in competitions

We also use video surveillance in our stores, which is to ensure the safety of our employees and to prevent acts of crime. 

Purpose of collection
We use the information we collect to run our business, deliver and develop the quality of our products and make your experience better when shopping or interacting with us.

Storing personal data
When you purchase goods or services from us we will keep your personal information for 5 years + current year in accordance with the rules in the Bookkeeping Act. In some cases, we may retain the information longer if necessary to comply with legal obligations or to uphold our agreements.

We will also retain other information collected and processed for 5 years unless there is a sales or service relationship between you and us, which in your interest makes it necessary to keep your personal information longer. In addition, they will also be stored for a long period if necessary to comply with legal obligations or to uphold our agreements.

Personal data to third parties
We do not sell, publish or transfer your personal information to any third party without your consent unless necessary to complete an agreement or transaction and necessary to ensure compliance with applicable Danish law.

However, when we give credit or you raise a loan through one of our collaborators, an automated decision will take place, meaning there will be no human intervention, when determining whether we can provide credit or you can raise a loan. In addition, our website uses cookies for statistics by users.

Your rights
As our customer you can get insight into the data we have processed about you, where it originates and what we apply it to, by sending a request to info@daarbak.dk. Information on how long data is stored and who receives data about you may be disclosed. Access may be limited for the protection of other people's privacy, business secrets and intellectual property rights.

If the information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant you have the right to get the information corrected or deleted.

Information about the newsletter

When you say yes to the newsletter from Mogens Daarbak A/S you agree that we will send you information every week about offers, competitions, events, trends and tips. Our newsletters reflect our ambition to be more than just an office supply and therefore we always aim to create content that is both serious and relevant but also exciting and fun.

You will get the newsletter on the email address you have registered.

Data collection
As a recipient of the newsletter from Mogens Daarbak A/S you consent to us registering the information provided upon registration. We protect your information and will not pass them on to any third party. The information is for internal use only and allows us to make even better newsletters in the future.

Cancellation

You can always unsubscribe from the newsletter and we will delete any information you have given us. You can unsubscribe from our website or in the bottom of each newsletter we send to you.

Use of personal data on applications

When you apply for a job at Mogens Daarbak A/S we register your application and your data in our recruitment system, Innomate, according to the following guidelines:

Who sees your data?
We use the personal data you provide in your application for recruitment purposes. Evaluation of your application will be handled in the HR department and by trusted managers.We treat your personal information confidentially.

Why - and how long do we save your data?
Your application and personal data will be stored in our recruitment system. We store your personal data for maximum 6 months. Afterwards the system deletes the information automatically. You have the right to know what personal information we have registered about you and the right to require all information deleted. Contact Mogens Daarbak A/S, HR department to delete the information. 

*In special cases a consent can be collected through personal contact. 

Requirements for information
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the personal information you provide. We strive to avoid personal information including health, race, religion and sexual orientation. By applying for a position with us, your e-mail address will work as a unique ID. Therefore, we recommend that you use your personal email address and not an email you share with others.

Security
Our partner, Innomate, uses secure servers and stores all data regarding recruitment.
